Become a Trustee

We are currently looking to add to our Board of Trustees. Experience in Law and HR would be advantageous but is not essential. Please read below for more information and contact Richard Kearsey if you are interested in applying.

There aren’t any specific requirements to be a trustee, however, trustees must be skilled, knowledgeable, and able to confidently support (and challenge) the leadership of The Thames Learning Trust. 

A board of trustees must be diverse and made up of people with different skillsets. We welcome applicants with a professional background in areas such as law, marketing, finance and HR, however, this isn't absolutely necessary as we also really value skills such as negotiation, problem solving, and leadership.

Anyone who is considering becoming a trustee must ensure they have the time to commit to the role. In return, they will gain high level strategic experience.
